Morning Surprise
Pop quiz! The two words we love to hear as we walk into a class. Calculus and Chemistry are dreaded, because a lack of understanding. AP Comparative Politics and AP Literature are dreaded, because of their complexity. However, why fear equine science? It is neither complex nor difficult to understand. It is simply uninteresting. Staring contests are constantly held with the picture on the wall (I never win) and the only thoughts are those about making a delicious sandwich for lunch. At this point, my lack of interest in equine science may seem a little intense. However, this tends to happen when you are given a pop quiz about newly learned information. A pop quiz is similar to asking a 3 year old to find the derivative of 3x+5, the knowledge is just not there. So what do you do when you are given a pop quiz? Well, there are several options. You can utilize a series of compound sentences that are not pertinent to the question, in hopes of perplexing the instructor. You can leave the quiz blank. Or you can attempt to humor the teacher and score pity points. The most effective option is dependent on your level of desperateness. For today's pop quiz, I chose the first option, but for the next quiz option 3 might be more suitable.
